Catherine is an unreleased Evanescence song from before the band was signed. The song was possibly recorded, but has never been released to the public. It is one of the only joint writing efforts ever put together by Amy Lee and Ben Moody and was originally intended to be on Origin. According to Amy Lee in an interview with EvanescenceWebsite.com, it was written on an acoustic guitar in a movie theater parking lot. They only performed it a couple times to about 25 people in a coffee shop in Little Rock.
