Taledon X was the High Priest and High Holy Conduit of the Church of the Sun from 870 AS. He was a veteran diplomat, soldier, and priest, and one of the most powerful figures of his time. He owned Taledon's Helm, a powerful magical artifact that also brought its wearer incredible bad luck, which contributed to him being crushed by a runaway peasant's wagon while crossing the street in Steadwick in 881 AS.
