In the Story Mode, Mischievous Boy appears in the third stage of Green Garden, "To Have or Have Not". In that stage, the goal is to reach the blue gem. However, each time Bomberman reaches the gem, Mischievous Boy swoops down to grab it and move it to another map. After he has moved the gem three times, Sirius attacks him, which prevents him from grabbing the gem again. The gem may then be collected to end the stage. In the Battle Mode, Mischievous Boy appears in the stage In the Gutter. He rests atop a pillar, turning to indicate the direction in which the water is currently flowing.
