Emily Moser is a character in DEXTER. Emily is wife of Dean Moser and both are the biological parents of Laura Moser, who is Dexter Morgan's biological mother as well as Brian Moser's. They are never shown in the series and are only mentioned via a newspaper article that Debra Morgan discovers in her research back into her father's history with CI's. Their statuses, as far as where they are now and if they are alive, is virtually unknown and whether or not they even know about the existence of either Dexter or Brian is unclear.
