Unruho was the god of the Tol people on the planet Neesan. When Queen Lok received a telepathic image of Spock in around 2264, she believed it to be the image of Unruho and had a massive stone carving made bearing Spock's image. When the USS Enterprise visited in 2266, Spock posed as Unruho to stop Captain Kirk's landing party from being executed, and later to bring peace between the Tol and the Kovar.
