The First Battle of Belderone was a battle fought during the Second Galactic Civil War between the Fourth Republic and the Sith. The battle was fought in a desert region of Belderone, where the Sith invaded a Republic outpost. The Sith used the dark side of the force to fire laser beams and crush the Republic troopers. The Republic stood no chance, though they succeeded in killing around 100 of them, and the Battle was ended. The surviving Republic soldiers fled to Somsly, where they fought in the Second Battle of Belderone.
