Probe was sent to the island of Guall to capture a rogue Japanese soldier who, unaware that the Second World War had finished, was holed up in the jungle and attacking British workmen. Probe confronted the samurai but disobeyed his orders to bring him in alive, and allowed him to commit ritual suicide.
