Pedro Andre was the stage name of a (dubious) look-alike of singer Peter Andre hired by Chesney Brown as a surprise for fellow kebab shop worker Gemma Winter. She had been nominated for the Weatherfield Good Samaritan Award and although she had won, she was disappointed that a scheduled appearance by the real Peter Andre, her idol, had been cancelled at the event. Seeing her disappointment, Chesney arranged for "Pedro" to appear outside the shop, dancing to one of Andre's hits. She saw straight away that he wasn't the real thing but happily thanked Chesney anyway and then started covering the hapless and frightened lad with kisses.
