Mary Daisy Nixon (née Mayfield; 17 March 1871 - 10 May 1982) was an Australian woman notable for her long life. She was born in Whitmore Square, Adelaide, South Australia on 17 March 1871 as the eldest of eight children to Thomas and Elizabeth Webber Mayfield. Her mother died when Mary was young and she helped her father rear her younger siblings. Mary Nixon attributed her longevity to eating plain food, working hard and having a close family. She was blind from the age of 100 and died in North Adelaide, South Australia on 10 May 1982, aged 111 years, 54 days.
