He first appears in Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters: World Championship 2006 as a Tier 5 opponent, unlocked by defeating all Tier 4 opponents at least 5 times. His deck, "Blaze of the Black Flames", focuses on locking down the opponent while attempting to summon his namesake card, leaving players without the use of Spells and Traps against a 3000-ATK monster.
