Begbie(VDM143) was born in-between February 20-22, 2010 in the Drie Doring Mob. His mother was Mist, the dominant female and his father was an unknown rover. His litter-mates were Marilyn(VDF144), Andy C(VDM145) and Tanzania(VDF146). All four pups made iit through their first month and started foraging with the adults. Begbie was six months old when Mist gave birth to her next litter. By then Begbie could care for himself. Begbie and his litter-mates all survived to adulthood. He soon took to roving with some of the older males in the group. In June 2011, Begbie left the group along with Falco, Fezzik, Uranus and Fingal.
