Benjamin Brackett is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from San Jose, California. Similar in style to The Band and Elliott Smith, his first album, Hear Ye Hear Ye, was recorded in Seattle, WA with noted producer Shawn Simmons, and recently released on his own independent label, Casa De Stereo.
