He finished in second, behind New Alexandrian champion Pietro Maximoff. Despite the competition between the two during the tournament, they became lifelong friends afterwards. After graduating from Durmstrang, Viktor continued his career in professional Quidditch. He married fellow student Athena Eliopolous in 1997, with Pietro as his best man.
