The Palace Guard Service, or PGS, was a Manticoran law enforcement and security unit that worked closely with the Monarch's Own Regiment to provide protection for Mount Royal Palace, the Royal family and senior members of the government. PGS agents wore uniforms or plainclothes, depending on their assignment. (HHA2.3: QG, HH9)
