The Bosh-Garratt slavers was a name applied to a group of slavers operating in the Bosh-Garratt swamps on Deshad in 153 and 154 ABY. Composed entirely of Zykeds, the group operated by sending raiding parties to Zyked villages around the swamp chain. They usually focused on abducting young Zykeds, although adults were sometimes taken alive when it was feasible; those who fished or farmed out in the swamps away from civilization were particularly vulnerable. In addition to taking slaves, the group was also responsible for a number of murders, usually local police or creche mothers attempting to defend their young.
