Less than a week after his encounter with Dr. Death, Bruce Wayne is reading the paper and finds some news about a strange death worth investigating, as it seems related to Dr. Death. Wayne pretends to be a reporter and interviews the dead man's wife, who confirms his suspicions that Dr. Death is involved. Batman decides to break in to Ms. Jones house in order to protect her diamonds as Dr. Death sends his assistant Mikhail to steal them.
