First Lieutenant Herbert "Herbie" Schweitzer is a minor character in the fanfiction serial Rise of Unity. As part of the Dominion Elite Guard, Tenth Division, he was sent to help defend the planet Umoja from a Zerg assault. His platoon was grouped in the Fourth Regiment, commanded by Lt.-Col. Aidan Taylor and including Marines Sgt. John Granovski, Cpl. Hisham Hirmiz, Pvt. Jason Millard, and Pvt. Michael Chang. After the aborted defense of the initial Zerg assault, he, along with Col. Taylor, Col. Anna Mikulchyk, and Pvt. Millard, discovered an active Psi-emitter in the city core.
