The Swamp of Sorrows is a level 52-55 zone in the southern portion of Eastern Kingdoms. The breadcrumb to the swamp comes from the Burning Steppes and leads players to Bogpaddle, the neutral goblin quest hub found in the northeast corner of the zone. Key plot points cover mysterious actions of the aquatic wildlife, the downfall of the green dragonflight and the rise of Hakkar in the Temple of Atal'Hakkar (more commonly known as the Sunken Temple), the rising Alliance/Horde conflict in the Bloodmire, and for the Alliance, the plight of the Broken draenei and the lost ones.
