Doug Doose is the older brother of Taylor and was born and raised in Stars Hollow but lives elsewhere now. He is down to earth and relaxed, not unlike Luke Danes in some ways and has no time for his younger brother's fidgety planning of everything. Doug returns to Stars Hollow for the regional semi-finals of the high school hockey team in 2002.
