Female dwarf is a type of monster in ADOM. Female dwarves are only found in Dwarftown, and like male dwarves can dig. While many humanoid monsters are assumed to be male but can have explicitly female counterparts, female dwarves are unique in that they are treated as a separate species of monster. While it is possible to wish for a female dwarf, wishing for e.g. a "female assassin" results in a generic assassin of either gender being generated instead.
