The Rheged Co-Operative (known locally as Rheged, pronounced Regg-Ed) was a collective of independent townships based in the northern parts of the former English County of Cumbria. In an area formerly known, until 1974, as Cumberland. On the 11th of March 2011 the people of the Rheged Co-Operative voted to become part of the Kingdom of Northumbria, and as such the Rheged Co-Operative ceased to exist.
