Ide Lancers was a scout unit of the Unicorn Clan, who engaged in light battles, and attacked and harassed the enemy's flanks and rear, before a full-scale combat begins. Their horses were trained for quick bursts of speed. They were composed almost entirely of Otaku men who left their matriarchal family to serve in one of the Unicom Clan's premiere line units.
