Patricia Moreno was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps up until her death in Afghanistan three years prior to the events in Anonymous was a Woman (episode). After her death, her military ID was stolen and used by a young woman originally from Afghanistan named Nadira Momozoy who pretended to be Moreno up until her own murder in October 2013 with the NCIS Major Case Response Team later discovering the theft.
