Yahoo Inc. said in January 2010 that it is launching a Winter Olympics mobile site, broadcast studio in Vancouver and entertainment center there. Sunnyvale, California, based Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO) said it will also have Olympians and champion athletes for games commentary. The mobile Olympics site is scheduled to launch on Feb. 9, 2010, and will provide medal counts, news and expert coverage, live results and athlete profiles. FanCouver, an entertainment center at the scene, will provide a free WiFi lounge, video streaming, refreshments, photo booth, athlete appearances and other things.
