The Coronation of the Laurasian monarch is a highly-developed religious and governmental ceremony of the Laurasian Empire, in which the Emperor and Autocrat of All the Laurasians is crowned and invested with regalia, being anointed by the Imperial Almitian Church and formally blessed to commence his reign. The coronation, one of the most lavish ceremonies conducted by the Imperial Laurasian Government, normally takes place within a few months (and in some cases, a few years), of the monarch's accession to the throne: the Imperial coronation of Aurelia I the Great, for example, took place on 15 January 1759, nearly two months after her accession to the throne.
