Dannil Darvin was a young lieutenant in the Royal Erathian Military Command, serving under General Morgan Kendal. After the death of Nicolas Gryphonheart, Darvin was given the task of announcing to the public that the Military Command was taking control of Erathia until a proper successor could be found. He was very dismissive of the war against the kreegans, describing it as nothing more than a "border skirmish", and tried to reassure the court that the war would soon be won.
