The machine is a rotary spotlight device with two masks: one comic, the other tragic. It is used to set the mood for the plays that reflect Gloria Von Gouton's life. Razputin collects a candle from the storage room and, after inserting it into the machine, ignites it using Pyrokinesis. The machine then starts functioning and can therefore be interacted with. Raz can punch the machine to make it spin and switch between moods. Whichever mask the light shines through affects the appearance of the stage and the performers. Although the images on the sceneries change when the machine does, they still retain their shapes.
