Alpha Trion is one of the oldest living Transformers, and one of the three great protectors created by Primus himself to safeguard Cybertron and its inhabitants. One of the "founding fathers" of the Cybertronian revolution against the Quintessons, Alpha Trion has a skilled strategic mind, but prefers peace and diplomacy. When Straxus threatened to drag Cybertron into Civil War, Alpha Trion dedicated his energies to the Matrix of Leadership -- and has learned many of the ancient artifact's secrets. Throughout the millenia he has "sheparded" the Matrix from leader to leader. While he is no slouch in combat, Alpha Trion's greatest asset is his ability to see potential greatness in others and help it flourish.
