Grand Apothecary Putess was a skilled alchemist in the Royal Apothecary Society, a group of alchemists who worked for the Banshee Queen, Sylvanas Windrunner. He first appeared during the 2nd Scourge Invasion of Orgrimmar, where he worked in the peaceful city of Shattrath to create a cure to the Plague of Undeath. He eventually succeeded in this, and was promoted to Grand Apothecary. Sylvanas eventually gave Putress orders to assist Warchief Thrall in the campaign against the Lich King in Northrend.
