Brickyard Kennedy was the brother of Goldbeard Walter Kennedy. When his brother was fatally injured at the Battle of the Hesperian Gulf, Kennedy assumed command of his ship, and appeared at the post-battle parlay aboard the Aigle d'Argent. He tried to make himself and his commrades believe that they had defeated the allied fleet. When Avalon fell to William Radcliff's men, Kennedy joined his brother in the next world.
