The AR220 has all the basic features of an Artist model including a set-in neck and a fixed bridge with tailpiece. In addition it has a mahogany body with top binding and a mahogany neck with 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups wired to Tri-sound switches which allow a wide range of tone options. The AR325 is a similar model with a figured bubinga top and the AR420 is similar but has a flamed maple top.
