"Caps" was the name of the sports teams of Brandon College in Brandon, Manitoba from as early as 1910. Brandon College was created in 1899 and became Brandon University in 1967. Since 1969 Their teams have been called the "Bobcats". They are now members of the Canada West Universities Athletic Association (CWUAA) and Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS).
