The Sakmar Expanse was an area of space in the Outer Rim consisting of a small number of solar systems. Considered remote, a species considered the most advanced in the area once detonated a fusion bomb in the core of its planet to see what would happen. During the height of the Galactic Empire, it was presided over by Moff Prav Sh'mukk.
