The Council of Life and Death was a small council of Two individuals, usually silver Master who were not on the council, that presided over the ceremonies of Birth and Funerals, which were usually held together in Templar custom. These two masters served on the council for life, and were also Ice Sages or Wind Sages. They were trained from Birth in the knowledge of life and death and the knowledge of Rituals. They were the closest the Templars of Twilight came to priests.
