Doremi and her friends are pupils of the Misora Elementary School during the series. The school contains class levels from 1 to 6. Misore Elementary School doesn't have a school uniform requirement, however the backpacks of the girls are all red and the backpacks of the boys are blue. They aren't allowed to wear jewelry at school. The students should not work after school, even though there are exceptions.
