Carnifexs are big brutes of creatures the Hive Fleets use primarly in spaceship broading actions and battlefield assaults. They were orginally encountered during spaceship battles where a variatiion called a "Screamer-killer" would normally broad a ship with a bio-plasma attack (basically firing a big ball of plasma) followerd up by slashing with its two pairs of scything talons. As the Hive Fleets have progressed into the galaxy Carnifexes have been more commenly used in assaults against armoured targets and fortified buildings. They are, however, rather "slow" and would just randomly run to enemies under intense fire if it wasn't in synapse range.
