For Jim Henson, Edwards provided the sounds of Fizzgig in The Dark Crystal and Ambrosius in Labyrinth. Other credits include whale noises for Orca, the alien in Ridley Scott's Alien, reindeer sounds for Santa Claus: The Movie, dog growls for the animated film The Plague Dogs, assorted beasts (mortal and mythical) in the animated Valhalla, and Bartholomew the Aberdeen terrier in multiple P.G. Wodehouse radio adaptations. He narrated the 1980s children's series The Stories of Snowy and the Buttercup Buskers.
