Jara Xerto was a member of the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. In her youth, she was taught combat and infiltration skills by her parents, commandos for the Confederacy of Independent Systems, hoping to pass on their knowledge to her. She would apply these skills as a member of the Rebel Alliance, where she was allocated for the Alliance Special Forces as an infiltrator and intelligence gatherer. Eventually, she would be selected for the 12th Alliance Specforce team, where she served as an infiltration and intelligence specialist.
