"Season Nine" was a comic book meta-series from Dark Horse Comics which comprised of two main series, several mini-series, and a number of e-comics. The story was a direct continuation of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight and a tangential continuation IDW's Angel and Spike. Although he did not write many stories, Joss Whedon served as an executive producer for the meta-series.
