A smurfmelon is a type of watermelon grown and eaten by Smurfs. They usually spring from hollow vines that produce flowers that later turn into fruit. In the episode "The First Telesmurf", the overgrown smurfmelon vines were used in the creation of Handy's invention, the telesmurf, which lasted only a day until the melons sprouted.
