The Rebel Alliance Missile Trooper was a specialized soldier who carried a low-impact missile launcher. The soldiers could also become Armored Missile Troopers and carry two launchers. The Troopers served the Alliance, which was formed in 2 BBY, during the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire. They were outfitted at Troop Centers. As part of the New Republic, eight Armored Missile Troopers joined in the Seizure of Coruscant in 7 ABY.
