The Mexican general election of 2010 was held on November 20, 2010 to elect members to the Congress of Mexico. Led by Prime Minister Felipe Calderón, the Conservative Party won a net of three seats to slightly increase their majority over the Alejandro Encinas-led Party of the Revolution. The election was the first contested since Calderón toppled then-Prime Minister Vicente Fox in the 2008 Conservative Party leadership elections. This is the most recent general election to be held in Mexico, having elected the current Congress.
