Xaejil is a beholder that sits in the Khyber, luring adventurers into his lair using the dragonshard-rich environment as bait. His M.O. is as follows: defeat a batch of adventurers, charm a sole survivor, and have him go to another local town with proof of a dragonshard mine. This surviving adventurer will then lure other adventurers into Xaejil's lair, where the cycle starts anew. Xaejil has a couple of chokers working for him, and used them as advanced guards. He also has a large collection of petrified adventurers from others he has captured.
