Kate Gartside was born 6 August, 1964 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. She is an English actress who is well known for playing Ally in Preston Front from 1994 until 1997 and Detective Sergeant Jane McCormack in City Central between 1998 and 1999, she has also been in Burnside, The Bill, The Tribe, Waking on the Moon, Elephant Juice, In Deep, Dalziel and Pascoe, Decline of the Empire, Table 12, Heartbeat, Close My Eyes, Thief Takers, In Suspicious Circumstances, Backup, Vincent, Rescue Me, Rosemary & Thyme, Yasmin and The Life and Works.
