The 1965 Ascot 500 was a five-hundred lap marathon for the Pacific Coast Late Model Series (now Camping World West Series) held at Ascot Park on May 30, 1965. Eventual season champ Bill Amick captured his second straight victory and his fourth in the last five races, holding off Marvin Porter.
