Jim Delaney ( - April 5, 1991) was a NASCAR driver from Lyndhurst, NJ. He competed in eleven Sprint Cup Series events in his career. Delaney's debut came during the 1949 season, when he competed at Langhorne. It was a rough entrance for the driver, starting 43rd in the field of forty-five and only improving to 40th by day's end. With all that said and done, Delaney did not return to the sport until the 1957 event at the famed Daytona Beach Road Course. Starting 34th in the field of fifty-seven, Delaney had a good solid race and wound up finishing in the 20th position.
