Heavy Archers are the standard Foot Archer unit of the Medieval Age available for the Inca, Maya, Aztecs, Lakota, and Iroquois. It constitutes a replacement of the Crossbowmen that other nations train, and the difference is purely cosmetic—both units having the exact same stats and costs. Heavy Archers are trained at the Barracks. They are strong against Heavy Infantry, but weak against Heavy Cavalry and Light Infantry. Like all Foot Archers, they make excellent garrisons, increasing a building's garrison power more than other units.
