Jade Louise Ewen is an English singer, songwriter and actress. She began her career as a member of the girl group Trinity Stone, who eventually disbanded in 2007 without even releasing an album despite signing to a major label. The United Kingdom automatically qualified for the final as a Big Four country, and on the night of the final Jade dazzled the audience and the juries with her powerful performance. She finished in fifth place overall, the United Kingdom's best finish since 2002. Jade still continues to perform as a solo act.
