Moonbrow was the young leader of the Daggerfalls Clan, the largest and most advanced of the native Demarian clans which resided within the Stubtooth Mountains, after his father was assassinated in a near-successful coup. The mountain clans, along with the desert tribes, were the few populations of "native" Demarians that remained after the Kretonian occupation. Daggerfalls was well known for their skills in smithing, trading their metalwork for much of the resources they needed. Between that and their strategic position deep within the mountains amongst a labyrinth of caverns and lava tubes, they were arguably the most powerful nation on Demaria before the return of Sanctuary.
