Foote played the original Diablo with his brothers, taking turns. He later played Diablo II. Foote joined Blizzard Entertainment in 2001, serving as a playtester for Diablo II on the 1.04 patch. He later worked on Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and then World of Warcraft, before moving on to Diablo III. He also worked on Reaper of Souls.
